Peace and War in Sergey Orlov’s Poems: Collection of Articles of Transregional Research-to-Practice Conference. 2021 

The collection includes materials from the Peace and War in Sergey Orlov’s Poems Transregional Research-to-Practice Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of this frontline poet and winner of the Maksim Gorky State Prize of the RSFSR. The authors study Sergey Orlov’s life and artistic legacy addressing respective commemoration activities. The large focus is research of the literary heritage of the Vologda region.
This collection of articles is addressed to literary historians, local lore specialists and all those who love Sergey Orlov’s poems.

This collection includes articles presented during the Transregional 10th Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conference that was held at the Belozersk Regional Museum of Local Lore on November 27, 2020. The readings were named after Blessed Kirill Novoyezersky who founded a monastery in Belozeriye in 1517. The conference is aimed at introducing researches and materials on the Russian North history (including the historical area of Belozeriye), Orthodox monasteries and churches as well as focusing on museum education.

This collection includes deliverables presented during the Transregional 9th Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conference that was held at the Belozersk Regional Museum of Local Lore on March 15, 2019. The readings were named after Blessed Kirill Novoyezersky who founded a monastery in Belozeriye in 1517. The conference is aimed at publishing investigation outcomes and materials on the history of the Russian North (including the historical area of Belozeriye), Orthodox monasteries, temples as well as studying museum pedagogics topics.

This collection includes deliverables presented during the Transregional 8th Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conference that was held at the Belozersk Regional Museum of Local Lore on September 21-22, 2018. The readings were named after Blessed Kirill Novoyezersky who founded a monastery in Belozeriye in 1517. The monastery celebrated its 500th anniversary in 2017.

This collection includes deliverables presented during the Transregional 3rd, 4th, 5th Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conferences that were held at the Belozersk Regional Museum of Local Lore in 2013 – 2015. The readings were named after Blessed Kirill Novoyezersky who founded a monastery in Belozeriye in 1517. The conference is aimed at ensuring spiritual and moral education of kids and teenagers, identifying, collecting and keeping local history materials. Collection of Articles of the 2nd Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conference

This collection includes articles presented during the 2nd Kirill Novoyezersky Readings Conference that was held in Belozersk in 2012 and is dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of the ancient town located on the shore of White Lake, the 1150th anniversary of the Russian statehood and the Beloozero historical area.

Spinning Wheels in Belozersk Museum Collection

Talking about wooden household items and tools, mostly spinning wheels have come down to us. The spinning wheel was a constant accessory in the life of a Russian woman – from youth to old age. A lot of heartfelt warmth was put in its artistic design. Very often a spinning wheel was made by a young master for his bride. And then, not only skill and talent, but also all those lofty thoughts and aspirations, dreams of beauty that youth is capable of, were put while decorating this item, which the guy brought to his betrothed as a sign of love and respect.

Sergey Orlov: My Generation

Sergey Orlov (1921-1977) was a representative and a voice of the generation that participated in the Great Patriotic War in tender years and saved Europe and the world in general from fascism.
