Books

The book collection mainly comprises of books dated the late 19th – early 20th centuries from Belozersk private and public libraries.

In 1980, Violetta Orlova handed over books from Sergey Orlov’s private library. They were around 500 books written by Soviet and foreign writers in the 1940-1970s. Many of them have their authors’ inscriptions.

In 2009, a collection of books belonged to S.K. Golovkin who lived in Belozersk was donated to the Museum. It consisted of 900 books on cinema and screen actors dated the 1960-1980s.

A collection of publications of contemporary poets and writers living in Belozersk is being formed.

The collection includes more than 2,200 books in total.
